The attacks appeared bigger all around, with sirens sounding at least three times in Bahrain, home to the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet headquarters, and missiles targeting Kuwait and Qatar.

America said it launched “powerful strikes” on Iran in response to reported Iranian attacks on ships sailing through the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier America’s Treasury Department revoked a temporary licence allowing Iran to sell oil.

But instead of bombs or missiles, the United States and Israel allegedly used a covert cyberweapon that secretly sabotaged the centrifuges from the inside.
